    Hi all
For a change I'm not a lurker, just came across the forum today whilst using tapatalk (superb app) and jumped right in.
Been smoking cigars for around 18 month or so ( weekly) with an occasional celebraterary puff before that so am quite new to this and certainly not cool/established enough to know the lingo or anything.
Thus far my regulars would be a dippy 4 and Hoyo ep 2 ( takes me a little longer which my 6month old dosnt seem to appreciate) favourite is Hoyo epi especial, boli good but 2 much for me of a normal. Tonight I'll be trying a dippy 2 to see if the argument about Monty 2 is valid in my opinion.
I'm living in ROI 10 years now from Yorkshire and the retail choices here are very limited hence Mitchell gets most of my business.
I'm trying hard not to be 'bigboned' having lost a few stone with a few more to go and I figure each milestone I hit is a good reason to try out a 'special' smoke which is what brought me here to do research, at 40 and broke due to family and recent Irish budget I can't afford to just try em all lol
Jees I'm going on a bit so lastly I'm looking for advice on humidors thinking adorini Firenze? Thoughts....
    Cheers all
    Andy

Friendly place this! Thanks for the welcome guys..
For those that may be curious having just reflected on the dip.2 I think I'm on the better than Monty.2 side of the fence. Was a lovely smoke and very similar but the slight kick at the end of the dip. Swayed it for me. Maybe a sign I didn't age it at all or maybe the Scrooge in me won out as it was cheaper, either way dippy for me
                Cheers all

                  Hello and welcome,

I've only been at this cigar smoking lark about the same length of time as you and I've found the UKCF to contain a wealth of knowledge as well as some mighty fine chaps.

I have an Adorini Firenze Deluxe humi and have found it to be a fantastic piece of kit, beautiful and solid. The only upgrade I made was buying a Xikar digital hygrometer and thermometer as I couldn't quite get my analogue one to settle down but I may just have had a bad one as others here seem to think they are reasonably reliable.

I remember when I joined here and posted pics of my new humi El Cat told me that I'd quickly outgrow it. I scoffed at such a notion and thought that it would take me a long time to fill a 75ct box... how wrong I was. I underestimated the collecting aspect of the hobby and now I spend my nights dreaming of a cabinet humidor filled with boxes of aged cigars

Welcome along Andy, enjoy your smokes in good health!

As for Humi's I would tend to say go for what you enjoy the look of (you'll enjoy it more) and always try and spend a little more (99% of the time you pay for what you get).
