Hi there people, just found your forum and thought what a great idea!!

I quit smoking cigarettes back in February this year and kinda started with the cigars about 2 month ago. I have been enjoying single malts since 2009 now and thought a good cigar would be a nice accompaniment.

I used to sometimes smoke Danneman Mood cigarillos years ago, but since giving up the cigarettes I don't really want anything that resembles cigarettes too much.
I bought a box of 5 Montecristo cigars from Waitrose which I quite enjoyed, but then moved onto villigers (my grandad smoked them...) which I did not find enjoyable.

I'm still testing and trying to find my taste and style, I have an inkling towards panatelas and a lighter taste. Any suggestions are more than welcome!!

    Cheers,

    Stu

Hi there...a lighter Cuban to try would be Rafael Gonzales or Romeo y Julieta. Try a Romeo no2 tubo which are pretty easy to source to test the water...
