I switched from contract phones to buying mine outright too, my main reason for that was that i change it often enough that i can sell my old handset for enough to cover half the new phone. The phones are too expensive, whats next weeks iphone gonna cost for the big memory one? I think this one was about ?700, i should keep it and forget the upgrade but i expect ill get this iPhone 6. Especially as I'm getting a brand new handset tomorrow but I'll eBay that one as new and grab the new model prob.

Just a coincidence that today I get an email from Amazon launching the Amazon Fire phone. It didn't take off in the States I believe.

What arnt people liking about it? Im pretty impessed tbh. The iphone otter both is a bit stronger but i think if they built it much toughter it wouldnt be pocket friendly

They were just saying that compared cost wise the Spigen was better value for money and fitted better on the S5.

Just seen that the Amazon phone is being offered for 99c in the US with a two year contract. Pity because it looks like a good phone based on its specs.
