More questions than answers?

On the forum main page towards the bottom is a list of all the members currently online. When you click the name it takes you to the profile page. Noticed this last night when mega bored and its coming up the same today. There are 3 types of oddities. when you do this

1) The person has been a member for years and it lists the current activity as PM, only they don't have PM status.....

2) Its a girls name and the about me section sounds like something off a dating site.....

3) I do not have permission to access the profile page......


WTF is going on, is the some secret extra depth to this group I haven't discovered yet?

Your last question first: The likely reason you can't get to their "home page" is because they have registered yes, but have not been approved by our overlord, se?or serious. In this case, no one can see the home page - including me - except for the serious one.

Your second question: Way back when in the early dayz of the UKCF membership was automatic (I think) or almost automatic, upon registration. This was changed some time ago to limit the number of spammers and trolls that were joining up. Final approval belings to our overlord, senor serious, or his designate

The first question: I think it's a glitch in the system, to be honest. Are you seeing this on the person's home page? I know it happens on the "list of members" page.

As TJ says. Just bots that sign up every day and I clear them down most days. They can't get on until I auth them.
