Password issue, locked out on phone

Ok, similar problem to the previous thread but different! I couldn't open replies on my phone so I logged out to log back in but of course it doesn't recognise my password; when I try reset password, it says 'if you have forgotten your password you can use this form to resent your password. You will receive an email with instructions. Press the orange reset bar, goes to 'to access this feature please join or Log In to this group. I.e. going around in circles getting nowhere. Any suggestions?

First port of call is always clear any site data and cookies. You can try incognito mode too to achieve this. See where that leads you.
