Jeez, me since like 1994 - 26 years building and running systems. But mostly trying to within the confines of an enterprise (which means politics, incompetence, compliance, 'securitay', legacy and crap old infra...)

Yep I've been there for the last 5 years - intense stuff, wish I could do engineering without the politics.

Have been tinkering this morning. Major OS upgrade, MySQL upgraded, and new PHP (not enabled yet, as this version of vbulletin won't work on it).

Ok PHP upgraded too, to a version both work on. We're ready. Lets see how the weather looks tomorrow before I proceed!
