I agree, it's probably just in my head but I always find the taste a little artificial from NC's...

Try a R&J Short Churchill-they were my first real Cuban and still love them now...

I've smoked both now. And personally I prefer Cubans.
There's just something not right with the taste of a non-cuban IMHO.
    All the best!

In answer to the main question..Yes, they are best, I have no doubt at all...with the codicil's they are inconsistent & too feckin expensive...

I have smoked much more NC's and the good ones are as good as any of the limited amount of Cubans I have had.
That's not to say there are not batter Cubans because my experience is limited.

The Fonseca I had was very good though!

I guess if you have other sticks to keep you going, smoke this one last & see what you think. I wasn't keen of the cedar flav either, seemed OTT but someone must like them, they keep selling.
Cheers simon yes got some other sticks i want to smoke before that so will keep it asleep a bit longer

Still, he's going to do himself a mischief with at Olivia V anyway!
So for the newbies, what's with the Olivias then? A bit of a walk on the wild side?

True, but it'll give him some flavour! Boli's might put him off forever!
