    Here's a decent read

There's a major difference between cigar mold and cigar plume. One you want and one you don't. We'll tell you how to tell the difference.

when i placed my first order with cgars last year i bought a RP vintage 1990 and it looked fine at a glance but i didn't examine them on delivery but a few days later when i was looking at them i saw some white stuff...took a picture and sent them and email...they just replied stating it's plume and there stroage conditions have been prefect for them...Being quite new to cigars i took there word for it

but now i know better and won't take there word for it and question it...Especially as i can't find any scientific findings on cigar plume and how they could possible appear.

Plume vs mold - from facebook

Saw this on facebook from cgars. Looks like a bunch of moldy cigars but they are saying plume. Probably not the best advertisement in the world, whats your view - plume or mold?
