I just wanted to try a variety, having never really wanted to buy singles it’s turned in to a small collection. Add to that holiday ‘bargains’ and I’ve got some decent stock. Really I’d be happy to just stick with PSD4 and Siglo VI though.

The collections all start, I think, with a single humidor. Mine certainly did. Then at some point the notion of boxes and ageing gets embedded and a wineador or giant tupperdor is required. After that maybe a second, even a third... The next thing is the walk in and then it’s too late to turn back!

I’m way past turning back - now it’s just full smoke ahead😎Originally posted by smokey joe View PostThe collections all start, I think, with a single humidor. Mine certainly did. I went from having a basic 20 count humidor in 2019 to having about 9-10 different boxes in a Tupperdore by the time of this post. I didn't start buying boxes specifically to age cigars but since I don't smoke often it will be a happy side effect. Also I just find it aesthetically pleasing to have my own boxes of cigars, rather than having everything loose.

I did the same. When it comes to Cubans, which (supposedly, I'm yet to experience it myself) change over time, it makes sense to buy them by the box and smoke through them casually.Originally posted by Chris84Smith View PostI went from having a basic 20 count humidor in 2019 to having about 9-10 different boxes in a Tupperdore by the time of this post. I made it my aim to get a box from each of the major Cuban brands. Only ones I'm missing now are Punch, Cohiba, and HdM.
New world stuff I'll just buy in samplers/fivers seeing as there are so many to choose from.
But this summer I'll be cracking a couple of the boxes to see how they are at 2/3 years old 👍
