Good find, never saw one myself.

I bought a couple of singles in Milan at the time of release. The shop where I bought them had stacks and stacks of them. They were literally thigh-deep in boxes. €200 for 10. They're selling for £2500 a box now!
I have you say that it was a really boring cigar though. Very bland

Need a decent flav for such a large cigar or it's difficult maintain interest. I found that with a Sanchos.

You're right there Simon. I had a Sanchos a few years ago and it was really dull. I've got one left but I'll probably never smoke it due to the time I'll need to give up for it

Given the Montecristo Slam (amongst the other sticks mentioned on this thread) were announced at the Habanos festival this year - when do you think they might actually be released - 2024? 2025?

I know there were COVID delays on previous releases but just wondered how long it normally takes before something hits the shelves?

I do wonder if all the regular Cuban tobacco is now just being used in so called premium sticks.

What we know as premium Cuban tobacco might as well be called Pinar del Rio tobacco according to last night. There's some other minor regions https://www.cubancigarwebsite.com/ci...#Growing_Areas where tobacco is used for cigarettes.
