Hi Steve, thanks for the correction, you're right of course, have some LGC No3 & 4 boxes at the moment & of course, they are only varnished on the outside. You are also correct they were slightly different sizes: Unvarnished 42x 6 1/8" & Varnished 43 & 6 7/8".

I have had a similar experience with the Bolivar Coronas Gigantes. I have smoked two now and they were
both terrible. A really tight draw down the full length. I will try some of the tips given when I smoke the one
I still have.

It's a real shame this happens as we're paying for a premium product so it's not cheap and yet I have had sticks a third of the price that have had a better draw.

I was really shocked to be honest Simon. Hopefully the last one I have left will be the one.

Update:
I contacted CGars and I spoke to Mitchell, he said that Lonsdales are notorious for bad rolls and he said he puts people off buying Cervantes for that reason. Anyway he gave me a full refund for the Bolivar, very good service I must say!
