The dominant flavour I remember getting from the ones I tried was Pepper.
@PeeJay did you get a terribly wonky burn and a hollow spot or serious canoeing when it went out? That's what I experienced.

Same here with the pepper and so very different from the M356ii, burn was perfect till it went out.

I didn't enjoy mine at all and let it go at half way when it went out.

I didn't get a heck of a lot of spice on mine. It was there but wasn't dominating.

Revisiting my notebook I noticed that the band from mine says M356ii which might explain the difference as the M356 I've just lit has started as spicy as Matt described

Thanks guys appreciated the feedback The photo was taken with a flash as it was dark out, so yes the wrapper is a natural one.

Sorry to hear about your disappointment with Aging Room Marc, I found them to have decent enough wrappers but I suppose you can never get 100% quality control unfortunately

Is that the maduro Matt or your photography? I smoked the Rondo at JJ Fox and found it smooth and creamy with a mild flavour which inspired me to buy a box of the Prestos for a shorter smoke. And yes I do know the blend can taste different across the vitolas.

It's the photo, the 356 is a Dominican puro with a
Habano wrapper.

The Ageing Room Maduro has Dominican filler and binder with a Nicaraguan Maduro wrapper. These have a distinctly different band, red, without 356 label.
Both really good Imo.
