    Not in Malaga Steve. I'm here just now and they're absolutely determined not to let anyone smoke. No ashtrays anywhere and signs are posted saying No Smoking.... I've wandered past dozens of places and all are stating the same thing. They're saying it's because of Covid but I don't believe that for a second

    That was introduced for the whole of Spain because of COVID with a €2000 potential fine. We need some localised updates for mainland Spain.

    Don’t know if I mentioned before but in canary island, due to COVID, outside smoking on terraces!!!! Is forbidden as well. I fear this rule will never be changed.

    Good to know Steve, thanks. Same over here at the moment. Although since covid19 there are a lot more voluntary non smoking places.

    A friend of mine has just returned from a week in Vienna where he stayed with smoking buddies. Apparently Austria had a law change last year and closed all their cigar lounges. The shops are still open for buying only.
