Only ever bought full boxes when buying Cigars but I have bought a few tubos so I had the tube to re use as a way to carry my daily smoke.

I could certainly not afford to buy a box of Cohiba for a while at least. Bought a cohiba sampler pack a while ago, very nice it was too!

As someone of modest budget (house to buy and wedding to pay for all before June) it's samplers and singles for me!

Yeah, I agree, to some extent. I my humble opinion, a few of the the Trinys can stand up quite nicely to the best Cohibas. For instance, the Trinidad Robusto Extra was just as tasty as the mighty Sigle VI, which I love.

Too bad they discontinued the big boy.

I'd be more likely to buy something from the Cohiba Maduro range if they were in smaller packs. So far my luck with Cohiba has been terrible. Only 50% of all the ones I've tried have been smokable. Not due to age, but they were so plugged I've had to cut them in half 15 minutes in to get ANY smoke from them. So I won't be buying a box of 10 as it's too much to risk.

Six years is a long wait for Cohiba to come ready, smaller x10 cabs would make ageing a lot more efficient and affordable for someone like me.
    Totally agree
I have a 12 box of the Robusto extra and a original release box of three in a presentation varnished box
I am hoping to see what gesto have to offer in Cohiba plus get a box of 12 Fundadores next month when I visit

I rarely buy boxes of anything, as I simply do not have the disposable income to splash.

The smaller packs though do let me pick some up for an occasional treat without buying singles. #

I think they'd probably sell well enough without the smaller packs, the price isn't really any different to three singles in most cases. I suppose it's the airport/cruise ship/duty free impulse buys where they come into their own.

I really am not a fan of card packs. Every pack I've bought (especially aged) have had a nasty printer ink smell to them. I've thrown the boxes out and added the smokes to my humi's which allows the cigars natural smell to return incredibly. I'm sure these packs sell well but I'm not going to be looking for them personally. If I do get any ill go for younger smokes and chuck the boxes away asap.
