That would be a sad day if Habanos whiped out those 8 brands. When I first started out I shy'd away from those lines but now I have started smoking more stuff and have added a few boxes of SLR's, Dips, RG's, RA's, ERDM's and LGC's to rotation. I will really miss them if that happens.

That's quite a big chunk of the Habanos brands right there. As Dave mentioned it is surprising to see the Ramon Allones there, but also Diplomaticos, since to my knowledge this is a brand that only Habanos prduces so there would be no issues with brand ownership .

I hope those brands will still be made, but if they need to be cancelled for legal reasons hopefully Habanos can come up with new brands instead.

Hold on, hold on! This is suisidal. Loose all thoes brands and they loose the blends. What happens to all the leaf, does it all go into a couple o' factories to become one generic component. The NC's for their part have got it right, they've realised gar smokers arn't like fag smokers who stick with one brand for life and that diversity, discovery and appreciation of difference is wot keeps the pennies rolling in!

A bit like the Premiership here. A four horse race is OK for a bit. But boring an' predictable over the long run!

I'm surprised to see Ramon Allones on there. I guess it's not just about aficionado sales...

Sounds like the "high up arseholes", ehm I meant decision makers , are getting ready for the embargo to be dropped.

Then you can say goodbye to most of the smaller gauge vitola too!

    Thanks for the update Trevor

However, there is also a back-room brawl about deleting a large number of brands (around 8)....mainly those that BIT does not have the US rights to.
