The BBC is the only un-biased reporting media in the world.

Terrible attack by muslims who clearly don't understand the Quaran.
Ah but we have the CBC! (Canadian). Almost no political views are expressed there. Only politicians on that outlet are those who are newly elected into office and all.

Even when the mayor of our city is scandalised for smoking crack, CBC refused to post on it. I'd say the CBC is quite like his mother

I didnt pay too much attention to it. But thanks for clearing up the situ. It's always good to have an uncensored media source. our news outlets never say what one would and can say over the web

When you still have people convinced the IRA AC should be the legitimate government for the Irish Republic then there will be no real chance of ever moving away from these acts of barbarism.
Too much heartache & history to ever be forgotten..
absolutely........ can't agree with you more!! 'terrorist threat' is still very much a part of life in northern ireland!! those 2 soldiers were gunned down in a very brutal manner, as was that prison officer!! both incidents were claimed by the new 'IRA' and were condemned by sinn fein and mainstream republicans!! like most terrorists, those responsible were well known to the police and MI5, yet with a mass of evidence against them, the authorities were unable to take preventative measures and even now are unable to do anything against them!! the same it seems for the woolwich killers......

No the definition of terrorism is performing acts to cause terror. This may be killing or bombing or just threats to cause panic. Killing an innocent person is just murder killing a guilty one is revenge (and still murder). Both can be acts of terror

I think we need to get the definition of terrorism right. Terrorism to me is killing of innocent and if I am right, then look around the world what is happening. I am not justifying the killing here. These 2 guys should be hanged I say or I think they already been shot dead but so should be this justice like this everywhere in the world.

i see what you mean..... but the dissident republicans are NOT in discussions with the british!! they believe that the only way to achieve a united ireland is by armed struggle and elimination of the military presence.... whereas mainstream republicans now believe that dialogue is the only way to resolve the conflict!! just as the islamic extremists in britain, the dissidents in northern ireland believe they are at war with britain because they are occupying & interfering in their land!!

The situ in America is even worse. Especially when the mates broadcast that te communist muslims....... I'll leave it thereThen my mate's eastern european parents say the same thing in canada.
It's quite anti-muslim on this side of the larger pond too.

Of course, like you say, the average brit/american is better than that. But they hold their voices. So their silence of neutrality is drowned by the screams of rage and hate of the angrier racist ones. It's the reason everyone "hates" americans. Because of that small, racist group that makes them all seem bad.

reason why i'm asking is that only a couple of years ago, dissident republicans set up, ambushed and murdered 2 serving soldiers here in antrim!! the police allegedly had/ have loads of evidence on the culprits responsible, yet both have been acquitted..... one has been acquitted TWICE!!! one of these men was arrested only 6 months ago in connection with the murder of a northern irish prison guard on his way to work!! these were TERRORIST ATTACKS that were handled very badly by the police, courts and politicians!! i'm amazed at the response this murder/ terrorist attack (assuming that it was and not simply 2 nut jobs acting off their own bat) is getting from westminster and the general public, i'm glad...... but i can't help but feel sad for the families of the 2 soldiers killed here during what should be peace time!!
    http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/2009_Ma...racks_shooting

A new paramilitary group calling itself "the IRA" claims it murdered the Northern Ireland prison officer David Black.

anyway, my sympathy goes out to that soldier's family, friends and colleagues!!
