I don't discuss vendors by name on public forums.

I'm certainly not speaking for anyone else, but I appreciate the gesture. Some of us on here do use Swiss vendors and people will react to this information in different ways and make their decisions accordingly.

Unless decreed otherwise, I think posts like this are helpful to us all.

Please don't be discouraged from posting similar in the future [unless we are otherwise told ]!

To answer a few questions..
The link posted above to the other forum is where I saw this too.
It does not necessarily have anything to do with the shop mentioned but possibly the warehouse they use, at least 2 other Swiss online cigar shops use the same one.
Anyway there is no hard evidence yet, just circumstantial and coincidental. By all accounts the shop has very good customer service.
Names of the shops were posted on the other forum until removed by mods over there.
I never said not to use any particular shop, just to keep an eye on your credit card statements.
I would have no qualms about using my card with any particular shop. Credit card fraud happens, it's just one of those things. It will rarely leave you out of money, it's the inconvenience really.
My point was, suddenly, in the last week or two, a number of people who have used their card at a couple of Swiss cigar shops have been hit by fraud. It would be worth keeping an eye on your statements for a while in case it is not picked up.
