Yep, was a good debate but perhaps it's time to stop stirring now Searsa1 or we'll have to move on to why Ronnie Reagan tried to get Thatcher to stop the war before Stanley was taken, to allow the Argies to save face & as for George Bush Jr...

I am in total agreement on the stirring part. As for Ronnie and Jr. you can take all the pot shots you would like. As a nation we have elected our share of wankers.

An interesting and slightly sad thread. I avoid these sorts of programmes. They are well edited to make you angry and to think ill of the subjects. These people (I'm guessing) are all long term unemployed or benefit dependent and they may appear to be getting a lot for nothing however I'm sure they have fairly miserable lives in actual fact. Would you want to be in their position? Me neither.

I avoid these programmes and most of the current medias output. I stick to radio 4 news and the odd good box set. I also avoid places where I will come across this sort of person.
I try to live in a bubble of good food and drink, cigars and culture.
Puff I wish you all the best... Enjoy your time, we all must, as none us truly know how long we have.

Judging from the intensity of the debate I'm quite pleased that I didn't get involved in this thread :-)
