I saw them live in Manchester last year and they're quite possibly the best live band I've seen. Good show but most importantly sound just as good live!

If i'm listening to music I want to hear it as close to how it should be heard as possible.

CD/Lossless Rips is still king for me for a combination of quality and convenience. Vinyl is now a rare occurrence, as is Mini Disc. High Def downloads haven't really proven their worth to me yet either.

            CD is still king.
I'm with you on all of this - helps that my father is a music nut, so has an excellent set-up at his home (Meridian and other stuff I've never heard of as a bit of a layman in these things). However, I love the flexibility of Spotify Premium - as I can have it on my computer, phone, iPad etc, none of which have the capabilities, given the quality of the speakers/headphones to make much of anything better than Spotify's higher quality settings. Then I only buy special stuff on CDs which I think will be worth the effort.

I suppose that the best way to describe my approach to music is that I enjoy music, but can't be terribly bothered with it... So, for example, I know lots of music, but nothing about it (the chances of me having a clue what a piece of music is called, or who it is by, is very slim).

Its a bit of a boring system, it's just a PA system so deaf old ladies can hear the Dean giving his sermons. The screens are for the same reason, when they have a concert the screens go up and those with dim eyes can see Aled Jones or whichever special guest is there. So no kick ass sound system sadly. My dad office however....

After spending the entire week last week working from my truck doing street tree's I decided I must fix the lack of working radio. I now have a head unit with Bluetooth so I'm actually much happier about tomorrow's long drive.

Well he does a lot of editing so has a studio monitor system, he loves realistic sound but also has a quad amp and AR floor standing speakers but best of all he has a pipe organ in his office. Next time I go over I'll take a picture, its a church organ in miniature.
