I agree. The sub plots and characters. Vics ride and fall then rise again? Final scenes were thought provoking. Mrs Demeter bought me the complete series (again - didn't have heart to say I Had it )

[MENTION=13450218]Demeter[/MENTION] The Shield is a fantastic series and seemingly doesn't get the numbers it deserves compared to The Wire?

They're ultimately very different beasts and whilst The Shield doesn't pack in as much social commentary, it has some seriously heavyweight subplots and storylines. I'm currently trying to find the time to rewatch it and convince my wife to join me.

Have to confess.. this is the programme I'm most looking forward to catching up with.

An 'Epic' saga.. phenomenal production values.. spectacular locations.. and a stellar cast..

This season is gonna be completely away from the books...so i hope they have a good storyline....still can't wait for it though... Hopefully someone will leak the first few episodes again [emoji15]

I've just finished 'The Pacific', not as engaging as 'Band of Brothers' but much more gory and still very watchable. Also the first time I recall seeing a genuine Japanese tank on screen.

I have not watched The Pacific yet. It is one that I always intended to watch, but never got around to. I loved Band of Brothers.
