This is simply another potential way you may be a victim of crime, of course as long as thieves exist no system will ever be 100% secure, but I honestly don't think you can spend your life worrying about it

Be vigilant of course and make sure the money that goes out of your accounts is money you spent, but we should be doing that anyway

Nothing to worry about really, worst case scenario, your bank will likely cover any dodgy transactions although there may be some jumping through hoops to prove it.
