Resurrecting this thread, after an abysmal couple of yrs, things finally started to move with GGP & finally looks like I made a good investment after all. After the prev heights of 38p to the lows of 5p, it broke 14p this morning & I'll probably break even next week.
It's being cross listed on the Australian stock market in June & 20-1 share consolidation. I
All the ducks are lined up & about to quacking altogether. Already deciding what to smoke to celebrate being back in the black.
Anyone else still holding? Banos?

For those invested in or following GGP Greatland Resources, they have just had notice their being added to the Australian 200 level stock market. This is a big move & I expect the SP to rise back up to it's June launch price of 330p, shortly.
Going fwd plenty of news due before Christmas 🎄, my only concern is the release of the final decision to mine Havieron. It seems impossible for them not to go ahead, given the results, work & money invested so far but if it was negative, the SP would surely plummet to a fraction of it's current standing. My thought is to sell all when they release the RNS that it is due & if all well buy back in. My original thought was to stop loss but such a drop goes so fast, you can end up with far less that the stop.
For some reason GGP has always dropped on good news anyway so probably would buy in with losing g too many shares but after 5yrs, I can't risk such a drop, that would make Scallwag drop look a mere drop in the ocean.
Any thoughts?

Not sure which part you're referring to, 'shake everyone out'? Long Term Holders are holding on but of course it depends on your timeline. Some are happy to wait until Havieron produces but that might be 2028! Are you familiar with the Lasondale Curve? See link below.
We have been in the orphan period but now hopefully we'll rise towards production.
Australian law states their investment firms must invest a certain proportion of their holdings in Australian stock. Mining is a large part of that. Once this announcement comes to fruition, 3rd Friday of the month, they should start buying; which could add 8% to SP. The final decision to mine is the biggest risk IMHO, I think it must be 95% or more certain they will. They have delayed presenting this for nearly 2yrs? Just to ensure they can bring the most convincing case to the arbitrators. With the decline ongoing (currently paused at the third aquifer), See second link.
Costs are being covered by the gold being produced from the waste piles at Telfer & finally no debt (unheard of in small miners), should be a slam dunk! But having missed out like many at the 38p peak, when I was thousands ahead & watched it slide all the way back to to 12p & then 5p, I ain't taking that chance this time! Out before release of the news & then buy in with either a few less or more shares if the decision to mine is positive.
