            • Just finished Stephen Leather's new thriller 'Black Ops'. Once again starring his hero Spider Shepherd its another very contemporary thriller featuring jihadi killers returning from Syria and Iraq and a revenge plot sponsored by the father of a girl who died in the airliner shot down over Ukraine and includes some interesting conspiracy theories.

              • Watching TV the other day, and a programme was explaining how evidence indicates Hitler didn't kill himself in the bunker at the end of WWII, and that is was a couple of look-alikes. And how blood types didn't match either…

                A write up:

To most of us, the story of Hitler's escape from his bunker in Berlin sounds like utter fantasy. But there are some who regard it as the absolute truth.

                • Leather explores the theory that a Buk missile is designed to fly above its target and explode whereas the airliner had impact damage in the side as if shot down by another plane.

                    • Just started a new thriller called The Shepherd by Ethan Cross. Our lass had it on the shelf so thought I'd give it a go. First chapter was decent, pretty gruesome.

I thought you'd approve of this! It's much more enjoyable reading than watching something on the train to work and back I've found.
