Remind me not to accept coffee from you without watching you make it, haha that is soooo funny...

Reminds me of the time i went to colchester zoo when my lad was about 6 years old and a load of kids were feeding the monkeys laxative chocolates..

How about punching her in the face and breaking her nose and saying "oh, well it's just one of those things, get over it!"

Yes, you should always replace something you've broken if it's not yours. (apart from virgins that is.)

If someone has been a pain in the backside or dishonest then fine, but do we really need some gender specific insults? Personally I find words like bitch highly offensive except when used in relation to canine matters - and no I'm not a sensitive soul before anyone comments, I just don't particularly like sexist language...

revenge is sweet lol. If management wont act to sort out your problems then they haven't got a let to stand on bollocking you for yours. Another example was the engineers has some fluid that fluoresced under black light for finding cracks in metal. Spray chocolate wrappers with said fluid then at a meeting turn off all lights, turn on black lights and watch coworker fluoresce with fluid smeared all over his face and overalls. It is always good to know what kind of people you work with and some of the excuses they can produce when faced with overwhelming evidence lol.

NB - I have a spare stainless steel cafetiere if you want Panto - never use it and it wont smash too easily!

It's a piss take, work environments are funny places.

Years ago I worked in a place with a shared fridge. I used to have a jar of pickled onions that I enjoyed from time to time. Now I consider myself a generous chap and will give anyone pretty much anything ...if they ask.

I noticed that they would gradually get eaten by 'others' so I put a polite note on them saying something like 'please respect others food etc...'

....needless to say they still got eaten! A few weeks later once they had been completely eaten by the unknown person I sent round an email competition asking people which three of my bodily fluids I had put in the jar two weeks ago!

It sucks to work in a place that has no respect for personal property and weak management that wont confront people and actually do their job and perhaps upsetting delicate people. It isn't right but it is what happens in this nanny state. I had loads of sweets stolen from me while onboard, again a trivial issue which no one wants to sort out. I simply did some unsanitary things to the said boiled sweets and left a note at the bottom of the jar explaining not to eat them and what i had done. Funny old thing after that jar went missing the theft stopped lol. I know you shouldn't sink to their level like smashing their property but it is the only thing they understand sometimes.

    Rant over.

So what she means is... if you walked up to her car and was mad at her and slashed her tyres, there wouldnt be an expectation to pay for them, because.. 'its just one of those things so get over it'??

Or would you say that a deliberate act of criminal damage against your property contravenes a criminal offence? and tell her pay up or call the police??

Or... Naaa she should pay, buy another and give her the bill.

Coffee is like a second blood to me--if that happened to me, I'd put the hex on mighty heavy like.

Maybe you could get one of these: http://www.google.com/products/catal...CEUQ8wIwBzgA#p

I use it often, and it's more or less unbreakable. But as someone else suggested, lock it up, and maybe set the safe with poison gas if someone gets the combination wrong.

If it was me I would make a point of telling my boss that it was my personal property and she should replace it or pay for it. Also pointing out that she should not be throwing things about the office which is dangerous to others from a H&S point of view. Plus that it was a deliberate act and not an accident.

If that failed then I am afriad I would go out of my way to get back at her at every opportunity I could. Stooping down to her level maybe, but unfortunately taking the moral high ground does not work with some people. Some people have no guilt.
