  • Ozone Generators?

I had a quick search on the forum and see some you use these machines. I’m about to pull the trigger on one but wondering how effective they are for removing stale smoke.

I’ve a large inline fan in a shed, using it properly with inlet (door open) at opposite end etc. its great but next day the shed stinks. The smell isn’t a deal breaker and I can live with it if I have to.

I’ve also looked at the various air purifiers, good ones are expensive and id only have to use the ozone once a week max or when the smell builds up.

Anyone actually use them and do they work - or should I keep my money and look for a purifier?

Edit: I see they can destroy plastics and worryingly - electrical insulation on cables. Other than that, the only plastic is a tv and laptop in the shed!

Make sure you're not in the room when it's running. No pets, fish tanks either... In fact nothing living in the same room including plants,

Masking rather than getting rid, but I use an incense stick after a smoke.

Took me ages to get rid of the smell of incence from my shed after my daughter left - the little hippy!

im not a fan but i like the sandalwood ones, i tried one but yeh - it just masks or joins with and exagerates the cigar.

A silver ozone generator leaves the room with a slightly metallic smell, and no smoke.
