I cant stand to see a fogie suffer. so heres an "easteners" tip.

download the following free programs and update to latest versions.

1. spybot search and destroy
2. Malwarebytes anti-malware
3. SUPERAntiSpyware Free Edition.

Put your comp in safe mode and turn off the internets, run the above consecutively and you should be good. (can take a few hrs)

Finally turn your anti virus back on do a scan and then you should be able to go back on the web.
