Its the only one i've tried... Will be trying/ sampling another vitola soon i hope! It was quite mellow (perhaps enhanced by the age) easy going but with plenty of interest. The tasting guide was quite open in that there was essentially bits of everything in there! I picked out some hay and berry fruits notes and good underlying cedar. Others got hints of choc... Spice.... Coffee!! But all agreed it was at the stronger end of medium, very approachable, and rewarding! Few folk found it still carried a vit N kick.... I didnt.

Made some good joice there emaresee if your not happy with the partagas maduro I'd send them back
Cubans ain't cheap to buy as you know they do look like what you said.
Last year from my order I telephoned them about one cigar I wasen't happy with and they replaced it.
