Holes in your collection? You’re the man who has everything! What are the top priorities?
I like a good Robusto from time to time. But you are right it's all about Lonsdales. But we both know that there aren't too many left and that the discontinued ones are hard to track down.

I currently have 24 boxes I want or of which I'd like a second one in the wishlist thingy on the Cubancigarwebsite. None of them are REs or LEs, all regular production except for 4 which are LCDH releases.

My highest priorities are Party Salomones, SCdLH La Fuerza, JL No.1, Trini Fundis and La Trova. But I have found a box of the La Trova thanks to a certain gentleman who offered me to let one of his boxes go to thank me for services rendered.

The Mag 46 and the RA Gigantes were high on the list as well but I got them this week. I had to choose between the RAG and a box of Fundis and went for the RAG because of the rumor of it being discontinued soon.

Growing distrust of Partagas? Does that extend to the classic line too, I thought I recalled you enjoying a Lusitania recently?
Well my buds are rarely tickled by Partagas - I have had a couple of Lusi’s and they were pleasant smokes but they do not come close to the hoyo DC’s or the RAG’a, or the stupendous Don Alejandro! That said they’re meant to get better and better with age so I do have a couple of boxes! D4s and 8-9-8’s which are the favourite of many are total meh for me...

You can always unload them if they aren't to your liking.
To be fair, earlier this year I purchased a couple of singles of the D4 (GUT SEP 13) and I smoked one. It wasn't a bad smoke, much better than the 5 or the 6 but it's not something I would purchased a box off. I have too many regular production holes to fill first.

They are fatter than I prefer (40-46 RG) but variety is the spice of life and all that

    I’ll let you know Banos.

Not tried the P2 but I hear they are good also, Greg has very kindly gifted me one recently but it’s resting until next summer.

These are young so you may smoke a D4 before I do but I will let you know. The Lusitania is amazing, definitely in my top 5 favourite smokes, 8-9-8’s are great too. The D4 has never blown me away but I’ve never had a bad one either, they are extremely popular however so perhaps they are just not for me.

I’ve heard they are the Connie A’s of the Partagas line which is high praise indeed in my book so I’ve given them a shot.
