Tonight in the shed I'm trying the Peterson.

It's excellent. Light fruit. Cool and no bite at all. Lit first time and staying in without effort. Lots nice light smoke catching aromas even with the door open on this very blustery night.

Good evening everyone

I'm enjoying a pipe of the dunhill EMP on this cold but still night. Very different (of course) to the Peterson aromatic that I had on Monday. Was easy to light but a distinct mellowness was immediately apparent

I have a dark rum this evening and it may be the wrong partner but the flavour of the rum and the tobacco are quite identifiable which is nice. I've packed the bowl tighter tonight- newbie- and it's burning slower. Probably the difference between the aromatic and this ? I've detected more gurgling with this but probably my poor 'technique '. Bowl is cooler but I'm drawing smoother. It's only my third pipe since starting so perhaps I'm learning or doing it wrong , anyway I'm enjoying the time
