Can not recommend these two highly enough.

The only reason I won't buy again is cost but worth trying at least once

I've never really been a Stout or Porter drinker, always stuck to the ales.
That was until I stepped foot in the Scottish Real Ale Shop, where there were over 200 different Ales/Stouts/Porters. I can stongly recommend Midnight Sun, a 'rich, dark and spicy porter' and also Top Out, a 'smoked porter'.

No I have only ever seen them at specialist places. There is a standard edition dark island you will see in the supermarket tho. Also look out for Orkney skull splitter

Left Hand Brewing 'Milk Stout' is delicious. Creamy, slightly sweet but with coffee/roasted malts that keep the sweetness in check. It's a US import so not sure if anywhere national would stock it, but specialist beer bars/shops should have heard of it.
