Was brilliant to catch-up with some old face again, and meet one or two new ones. Lovely little social evening with some good cigars and fine company - just what was needed amongst the December madness all around.

Smoked my way through a Rocky Patel Vintage 1990, Saint Luis Rey Lonsdale and Oliva Serie V Maduro Especial diadema (or so it was labelled).

It was good to see everyone again albeit for a fairly short time because I sloped off early. It was sweltering under the heaters there too 😃

To those of you who made it, I'm sure you had a good time. I belong to a gentlemen's club in the north (nothing fancy) and I know that there is nothing better than SHARING the experience of cigar smoking or whisky drinking. So, I make a special effort twice a month (more often when I can) to be there - to be part of that sharing. Being located in the northern north of England, social opportunities of this nature are rare - so you grasp them. Long may the opportunity to do so remain.
