I'm saying call virgin (shit provider by the way) and tell them your coming here and that you don't want to get a stupid bill, they will sell you a data bundle for the time that you are here. It should be about ?10 to cover you while your here. Or just switch the mobile data off and use Marc's wifi lol.

problem isn't jolly ol' england. it's John!

but seriously: i don't think you understand the gauging us Canadians have to deal with. there is no such thing as a 'cheap roaming' bundle. in fact, the idea is laughable to me. 50mb of data for 30 dollars. there is actually nothing cheaper for a zone 1 country (1st world countries in the Occident)

on top of that, it's not England i'm too worried about. most shoppes have wifi. rather, it's roaming in roaming in small German and Swiss villas that i will be visiting. that would need both call and text, then. it's why i wanted to get an english number as suggested earlier with Virgin for a month or so.

Just pick up a pay as you go SIM when you get here Jeremy, every corner shop sells them. They're the bane of my life in my job.
