      • Is there a reason he should not be, what did I do?

I have texted a bunch with Avee who is cool about everything but not had the courage to contact Ajay.

        • Fantastic evening, best I have been to, got a custom rolled stick about the same size as a Gold Medal.

This is a short video I took while I was still sober enough to stand.

Did anyone pick up my black umbrella from 10MS?

Comp for fun, how many UKCF members in the video (I would offer a prize but I don't know the answer myself )

No worries Trevor; I was at Ajay's earlier today (got me another 56).

We just chatted about what a great event it was. You didn't upset him or anything.

Was a really good evening. Loved meeting up with everyone. I got well and truly "Krugged" as well!

                            • Well, I have to admit that my appearances here have been pretty much non-existent for a month or so (as have those on my blog). I'd just like to add to the general praise of the evening, in particular the couple of bottles of Krug that I must have necked... so much, in-fact, that I completely missed the cognac.

Great meeting some old faces again, some middle-aged ones, and a couple of younger ones... Spent quite a while speaking with Max and TJ, though I do think that, for a social event, we spent a little too much time discussing nuclear deterrence...

I do believe that we'd have done slightly better if we'd had even half a clue where the tube station was... Still, wouldn't have been half the experience, and it still wouldn't have given rise to straight lines... Although it did give rise to my favourite game when in London (and I seem to play it far too regularly) - underground roulette. Essentially, what you do is: stagger around a tube station for a while hoping to find a platform, hope that the fatal shot is not within (the fatal shot being a lack of transportation). You then continue this at various stations around London hoping that, eventually, you will find a train which stops at your station... A straightforward affair this time (get the last Victoria line service, shortly followed by the last, appropriate, District line service...)

Bet no-one spots me! I'm the one in planters... having not received the invitation upon which was the dress-code...

On that note... Thank you very much Mitchell. Having arrived in London, still ticket-less , I gave Mitchell a call to enquire as to its whereabouts. It seems that it was sent to my billing address (a house which I am now at, but had not been for some weeks). Not a problem though, in typical Mitch/CGars fashion, a solution was arrived at before you'd have had chance to make a cup of tea. Thanks again for sorting the situation out so quickly!
