I was planning on heading off in search of a pre-event smoke and drink (maybe even post- what the hell), and wondered if anyone else was in a similar situation.

I'll be in the vicinity from about 4.30pm onwards (probably with my nose pressed against the window at Sautters, etc).
If any-one's up for it, it'd be nice to say 'hello' and put faces to some of the names on here (I of course will be wearing a cunning disguise so you can recognise me).

Sitting on the train, trying to sober up before arriving home, still cuddling my mini box of behikes. Excellent evening, pleasure to meet so many forum members (pete, paul, trevor, stephan, deano, etc,etc.) Hope you all have safe journey home (Esp. Big T who appeared to be in a one man competition to drink his body weight in krug champagne! - top result). Will wear an eye patch next time to avoid any confusion! Cheers all. El Cat

Great evening! Good to see the UKCF out in force and to see some members I hadn't met before.

I had a brief conversation with James Suckling which was awesome, he's a kind of celeb and I always enjoy his tweets and blog postings. James has the best job in the world!

T, I do hope you made it home ok, looked a little worse for wear when I left.. Oh and very angry, even more than usual!

Ditto! On the last train to Banbury now (out of Marylebone). Shame I missed out on the XO but made up for it in glasses of Krug! Fantastic evening! First event of any kind for me and thoroughly enjoyable from start to finish. Pleasure to meet you all - especially Simon and Tom. Perhaps see a few of you at Manchester Street on the 24th! Cheers.
