See what others say, I think evenings are usually safest to cover most people and Zoom would probably keep it simplest as most people have used it and you don't need another platform/account (although I don't know anything about discord?). Deano may be able to add a zoom link to the forum?

Whatever easiest for everybody. I guess it works similar to Zoom/Skype, I always thought they were like conference call tools initiated by a single host, where as Discord setup like a join in or leave anytime you want. Like I said I was a bit unsure what Discord was all about originally, but it genuinely is so simple. Give it a look, I'm sure it'll make sense pretty quickly 👍🏼

Here's what it looks like on a mobile (I have blurred names/faces slightly) so easy enough to see who is on. Some are on video, some video with microphone muted. I am at the bottom with video off so just listening mainly

The main thing is this will be restricted to who has the link, so if posted in a safe place here it will only be the UKCF boys & girls in attendance

Once you have a Discord account, use the previous link to take you to the page, then you can see if anyone else is online. From there you can join the virtual lounge either with voice or video

I’ve been resistant to ever do a discord etc due to taking away from the forum, but what with WhatsApp et al we might as well. I’ll set one up and post details.

I don't think Discord would threaten the use of the forum, I still like to see people's threads & read the replies, rather than just a continual conversation that you lose track of if not on there constantly.
