I must admit Dave the Alec Bradley marque is always one where I have a few various sticks in the humidor - the Prensado Chrurchill is an excellent smoke! I have some Fine & Rare ageing nicely too, one of which I plan to smoke on Christmas Day

I love most of the AB stuff Vitola,the fine and rares are great smokes hope you have fun smoking that one you have saved for Christmas Day. The only blends ive tried which were a bit meh were the black markets and the American classics

Welcome Dave. I'm also a fan of the HUHC although I don't think I would put it in my top 3. I don't think that I have ever had a bad one, and for a cheap short smoke they are by far and away the best.

On its own no i agree with you mate,but...for all those small moments added up through the year where its been too cold for something bigger or...I've been really busy and only had enough time for a small smoke and wanted something far better than my dutch senoritas or monte puritos,i feel like all of those 30 minutes of happiness added together means that i have to put the HUHC in my top 3 this year

You need to try an H Upmann Epicure, another small one with a surprising amount of flavour

Indeed i do,I've never had one of those before.I need to broaden my horizons with a bit more of a mix of smaller long filler smokes,food for thought, when i go on my next overseas visit in February i could do with a few boxes of good smaller stuff

I tend to stick to either HUHC, RyJ no3s and Punch petit coronations at this time of year but,i smoke way more HUHCs than the others,during my February trip to Amsterdam i will be looking for alternatives including NCs. I will try the RASCC because i enjoy the RASS is the flavour profile simmilar?All suggestions are welcome

They sure are mate,i have smoked loads of them but that box from 06 showed great potential IMHO so i have been trying to leave those alone,they are perfect now though

I would also give the Partagas shorts, Bolivar Coronas Junior and San Cristobal El Principe a try as well, all excellent, flavourful smokes.

A few nice ones in there!,love the party short and the boli cj just never got round to buying a box of either. I confess to having never smoked anything by San Cristobal. Thanks more food for thought...
