Ladies and gentlemen, nice to meet you all.

I’m a retired old guy frequently traveling between Hong Kong and England and I have been smoking CC for more than 25 years. My favorite smokes are Robusto sizes and I smoke 5-6 sticks a day. I didn’t own any humidor or collection in the past, but the recent COVID19 quarantine changes my mind as it is getting difficult to buy good quality CC, even if you are willing to pay for a high premium. However, I am becoming addicts to buy now whenever my suppliers tell me they have good stuff.

Now I owned 2 humidors with decent inventories and no more worry for any lockdown if it should unfortunately happened.

Once again, nice to meet you guys.

Stay safe and enjoy your smokes.

I have quite a fast paced smoking and a normal Robusto sized cigar only spends me less than half an hour. I used to smoke more sticks when I was young but when you have a lot of time alone, this is my only companion. I have to admit my addict is psychological more than physical while the pleasure and relaxation is nothing else can be replaced.

        cheers

Welcome onboard! I visited HK in 87/88 & loved it, was supposed to re-visit last Feb but the Corona stopped us. We have a few 60yo+ on here & I now one member at least 70+ so you'll not be our only Senior member.

Welcome along....dam I'm not surprised your inventory is healthy .....smoking that many a day you'll need it.

My good friend had a stag out there years ago was epic...haven't been back since but have a few friends who are working out there now.

As a 50+ old guy, I’m referring to my cigar age and nothing personal. However, I really feel myself getting old especially after my beloved father passed away early this year. Though we are all a day older than we were yesterday.

Thank you, hope the corona will fade out soon and welcome to HK anytime.

Thank you and with about 200 boxes of CC, now I’m quite sure at least I have a health inventory to survive through this winter, LOL

200 Boxes!? That is an amazing collection to muster in a short time. I just did a quick calculation & if all my cigars were in full boxes then I'd have half that after 16yrs of collecting & I know that nobody needs more than that - coz my wife keeps telling me so! Here's a frightening thought for you. I have been exiled in Belgium for the last 30yrs but MLW has finally agreed to move to the UK, to be near our daughter & my family. Trouble is I have just had a quote to bring my collection in could cost me over £7k in Customs duty - I'd even have to pay for the EMS ones I bought within the UK!
I'll be bringing our legal limit over every visit from now on, to reduce the final final & costs. I may sell a few rather than pay duty twice but I have bought my collection to last my retirement so don't really want to reduce it. Ah, first world problems...
