This is why provenance and trust is so essential when buying cuban cigars.
The price increases have basically made every brand that isn't exclusively short filler profitable to counterfeit. Cohiba would have suffered worse previously as that was the "premium" cigar brand, but they are now more highly scrutinised as a result. You'd be better off selling fake boxes of RyJ at a more modest return than trying to fob off a box of fake Behike, which would come under intense scrutiny (but does happen, fake Majestuosos anyone?

When I hear "investment", that also fills me with doubt. We know if something is too good to be true, it probably is.Comment
