Us was just disappointing to me. Maybe I expected too much, as Get Out was better.
However, Get Out was good, but not great - It was like a feature length Black Mirror (which I love).
Hereditary was lazy - much akin to the black goop at the end of House on Haunted Hill (that film was brilliant until it went to shite with the black stuff).

Saw the first of the two It films the other day. I won't bother watching the second...

I'm trying to think of a horror film I actually liked.... I'm sure there are some.
An American Haunting in Connecticut. Insidious. The Conjuring. Cabin in the Woods.
    The earlier Paranormal Activity films.
    Evil Dead trilogy. Candyman. Wishmaster.
hmmmm. Seems I liked em in the 90s. lol.

Devoid of character development, plot development or pretty much anything requiring a brain. Unbelievably violent in places. And utterly absent of violence where there really should have been a lot. At 1h30(ish) just the right length of time.
If you don't expect much, it's a thoroughly enjoyable revenge romp.
But Liam Neeson did it better.
Hereditary - What a load of total utter shite.
    American Hangman - Enjoyable thriller.
Cold Pursuit - Really very strange, but enjoyable. Now I want to see the original.
Glass - Awesome film with a disappointing climax.
Inside Man Most Wanted - Excellent. Even my wife sat still, which is saying something.
The Nun - Pure unadulterated shite.
The Poison Rose - Disappointing, despite an excellent cast.
The Predator - Loved it. Because, you know, The Predator.
Us - Wank. Didn't bother finishing it.
Night Hunter - Very good, even if predictable.
Fate of the Furious - Ridiculous. But loved it anyway.
Anna - La Femme Nikita lite.

Forester in some remote part of Scotland. Tells a great story about making his daughters pull the dead sheep out the water tank as little kids. Claims it's character building

Aye.... some collecting of weapons and ammo etc rather than the endless refills from unknown sources....!

I enjoyed it still.... he remains a belting embodiment of the character and I look forward to part 4
