Indeed, but if you give it as much time as a hobby, you do get entertainment too. As long as you can afford your losses. A truism losses are felt disproportionately compared with winnings

Long term stocks and shares should provide a profit if bought and sold wisely definitely a better option than gambling on the horses.

Fingers crossed... I'm not going to close any of them in the red though, so it takes as long as it takes. I just have to hope there isn't a bear market around the corner... I'm mostly in green energy and a couple of cannabis stocks. Rallied up the end of last year/beginning of this with the Biden administration, but since then they've been correcting pretty hard. Waiting for some positive news I think, but I'd have thought they should be pretty 'future proof'.

          • Anyone else feeling the GGP pain? Getting grim. Just as well HE1 is doing better, positive interview with the CEO, who's onsite to better make decesions on the spot (& support nervous investors, half way through first hole.

            • Been a bit quiet in here. Interesting times in the investment world. Lots of expectation of major markets crash over the next couple of months what with the sky high climbs since the beginning of the pandemic. Inflation and interest rate hikes are due.

This video is talking about the second biggest construction company in China going down and basically bring shown the world major economies much like 2008

How do we hedge against against all this?

              • Gold is the last bastion in economic crashes. GGP very cheap right now.

                • Commodities in general have seen huge spikes most of which aren’t anticipated to turn for some time

                  • GGP Went from 15 - 22p Thurs, Fri, on the prospect of the PFS being released on Tues. Finally breaking even again. Worth keeping any eye on this. How's you doing Banos?

                    • Holding onto GGP do happy to see it jump. However I suffered Ploarean as they failed to secure SEC approval 🙁 Also Ilila taken a severe pounding. So have to decide if I top up.

Markets have taken a bit of a tumble. So I'd cashed out a little while ago. But they not falling as far as some expected .. yet .. so gathering ideas where to start back in.

However the hodlers will be happy right now 📈

Question is, how many coins did you buy!?

                              • If anyone has been following GGP, their Pre Feasabilty Study was published this week. As is typical for this stock, massive drop day after good news but recovering today; still a cheap buy in (under my avge SP) & de-risked. Unfortunately I have too much in to lower my avge but patience will be rewarded with this share IMHO, DYOR.
