I like how your pipe is sort of disguised, or in fruit arrangement camouflage as it were!

Cheers mooseman It was genuinely a 'where the fug can I pop this for a picture?' hurried moment but came out ok I thought too
Church warden time, with some askwith kake. Still a breaking in smoke, but a fairly big bowl, so a decent relaxed smoke in the Herfservatory listening to the trees.
I filled a pipe with StJames Plug a few days ago & it sat patiently on the shelf wait to get smoked. Well to today is that day.
I've heard tell of the delayed gratification method (I've got some Danish cherry Cavendish drying out for a bit), sometimes days or *weeks* passing to see how the flavours blend.
I have a chunk of St. James plug lined up, how did it smoke dried out?

Real nice. This was fresh I lit it tonight. It lit easily probably die to the surface drying out.
Good to know, thank you good sir. I've taken your photographic hint and sliced off a piece, rubbed it out moderately and packed it in a small corn cob for a sample in due course
