Wilsons of Sharrow update - too strong, it burns like acid and makes my nose produce litres of snot.

    1 x President Snuff
    1 x Red Bull Snuff
    1 x Toque Champagne Snuff 10g Tin

Wilsons of Sharrow - phew, very potent aroma of menthol, eucalyptus and mint. Slightly more moist than McChrystals with a slightly more pronounced nicotine kick.
Good stuff, and if you find a good sneezing session therapeutic then this is the job.
I think I prefer this to the McChrystals so far.

McChrystals Original & Genuine (Menthol), like a more refined toned down version of the Red Bull. Smoother but still a good dose of menthol kick to the sinus.

All in all for me at least, probably a better regular snuff than the Bull.... The Bull will still have its place during a late shift though!

It's quite surprising how much has been written on this forum these last few days on snuff.
Go on, give it try - you know you want to

The Viking Dark is the only one I have experienced the drip with this far.

The drip is what turns me off snuff completely. No matter if fine or coarse, wet or dry, the drip burns and gags. Love the one hit wonder of snuff, but the consequences are too much!

Throat drip - it sounds really bad doesn't it? I find it particularly bad with Viking Dark because of its coarser grind. 2 to 3 good pinches up each nostril, however, almost guarantees an occurrence of drip. The finer grind snuffs don't grate so much.
Perhaps I ought to take less in any one go.

The Viking Dark, call me crazy but there is almost something meaty about this one. Certainly smokey, but smooth. Almost a hint of smoked sausage.

I like it, it makes itself known but its certainly not offensive. No huge hit, just a nice warmth. I could see me using this as an every day winter snuff.

mrcigar, I know what you mean by the "throat drip" though. If you take this one a bit too far back it makes itself known. My theory is that it's due, in part to the moistness making it clump slightly.

Fribourg Treyer Bureau: first things first, you get a whole lot of snuff for your money with this one compared to the price of some of the smaller tubs I have.

Flovour on this one is along similar lines to the Gawith Hogarth Sandawood, I would say the Sandalwood is ever so slightly smoother but the Bureau has a heck more of a kick too it.

Where the Hogarth's were full on relaxing, this is relaxing with some of the concentration effects of the Red Bull... Probably a good one for reading in the evening.
