Yes Sean I think you would enjoy it light and refreshing with a hint of spicy ness to warm the cockles [emoji106]

A Diamond Jubilee Scotch Whisky, blended from ingredients distilled in 1952, is to go on sale to raise money for a royal charity - but at £120,000 per bottle, you probably need to be the Queen to afford it.

                and its a blend

                    • Suppin' this Bunnahabbhain with an Epicure 2

Feel like its missing something although very smooth its a little to sweet or maybe not quite sunk in to my veins yet. I've been looking forward to this since Friday but some how it's a let down., Should of gone with the Yamazaki....I must say this cigar is luscious..

                      • Has anyone had Haig club whiskey? It's been having a large scale ad campaign recently, so been seeing it everywhere.

                        • I was going to buy a bottle but the Beckham endorsement put me off a bit. I read a review saying that it was OK but not great, considering the price is high enough to put it in the same league as Lagavulin 16 or The Balvennie Carribean Cask. Given the choice of a so so blend or one of those...
Anyway I'm only going by a review and have no first hand knowledge to back up my theory. The bottle is pretty, might be worth buying one to pretty up your drinks collection.

That's the new David Beckham plonk I think, I've not seen it anywhere yet.

A great thread all, when I get the chance I'll post up pics of my tiny collection.

A quick list of my favourites:

                            Dalmore Gran Reserva
                            Dalmore Valour
                            Bruichladdich Infinity
                            Octomore Comus
Lagavulin 16 & Distillers Edition (my absolute favourite whisky)
                            Ardbeg Corryvrecken
                            Ardbeg Supernova

                            • The club is in a nice bottle and their Dimple was always pretty decent. Though I don't have a clue about the Club itself. ?40 is a lot for an unverified blend.

                              • If I was going to spend ?40 on a blend I'd probably go for a bottle of Peat Monster.
