Could we not just use the like button, everyone likes the one they like on the last day of the month easy?

Its not difficult if we keep it to one vote per member. I did it last year for 'Cigar of the Year' and I'll be doing it again after Christmas. Voting should be in the thread at the end of the month so its completely open and the losers know who to drop from their bombing list!

Pms with 1,2 and 3 rd and tally up at the end for the winner is a good idea , and a simple idea otherwise there is a fear of this getting over complicated in the end its just a photo plain and simple most popular wins

Most forum software has the ability to do so.

That could be done, but I've not indulged for a while. From memory, it's not hard, but obviously the biggest bit would be getting all the names up. Could be a good idea, transparent too

When voting with your PM at the end of the month list of 3 with your favourite first

I can then count 3 points for your no 1 vote 2 for 2nd and 1 for 3rd. Tally them all up and give out the scores. Make for a much interesting end result even though we are sticking to just a first prize

Had a bit more of a think about it and your right. Getting too complicated already.

May still give out a booby prize decided by myself this month. Up to the prize giver in future months if its something they want to do

If concerned about cost re-gift the prize you won. Not great I know but I don't want to people cant afford to enter as it is meant as fun after all

You mean put comments in the picture thread?
You can do it yourself by clicking edit post on the actual post then clicking go advanced to give you option to delete

Would splitting the prize pot into 1st 2nd and 3rd place prizes plus a couple of my dog rockets as a booby prize for funniest/silliest/just plain terrible photo make this more interesting? Just a thought........

I'd say keep it as first prize, it'll be too expensive going forward otherwise.

We could have a split prize wiggy but if we do it might make it hard for some people to put the prizes together. Shall we start with most liked gets the prize and see where it goes from there?
