I am so jealous, I have just dealt with a message from Johnny Smoker, his real name!

I haven't posted in this thread for a while but had to share a call I dealt with today. An operator took an abandoned call from a distressed screaming woman who hung up. Our enquiries led us to her mum's address who said she was at her boyfriend's house on the other side of London. Officers attended the address to check on her welfare only for the boyfriend's wife to say 'Who the hell is she?' I dealt with the boyfriend who wanted to know how we got his address. had to wait until he had cleared before I laughed.
You have been warned!

Spot on Simon, they are compulsorily transferring police officers off the streets and into the control room.

Not a funny but a heartening tale in these troubled times. I've just dealt with a call where a couple of young Asian lads witnessed an old white lady being robbed and followed the suspect giving me a running commentary over the phone till a unit got there and nicked him. Good and evil are not skin colours people.

Any recent corkers PeeJay this thread has so often caused me to struggle for breath with heavy laughter.... The world is quite a serious place at the moment so I don't want to laugh at anyone, but hopefully find some humour in everyday life!

Not that she has an injection against me but it sounds like my ex. Did the woman have disappointment in her voice as he hadn't done it.

Caller - 'I have an injunction against my husband forbidding him from contacting me. I need to report that he texted me several times two days ago'
Me - 'What did the texts say?'
Caller - 'That he was going to kill himself.......'
