The Gentlemen.... if you like a dose of Guy Richie and co this one is worth a watch. I find that each of his London crime films are subtly different in tone and feel, and yet all are unmistakably his work! This ones quite light hearted. Hugh Grant is very good.... but Charlie hunnam has very much shed his sons of anarchy character typecast

I need to watch that octopus one

Watched Tenet the other day, impressive action scenes and score pulled you in but a pretty simple story purposefully made convoluted for no real benefit made it feel like halfway between a castrated Bond film and an episode of Rick and Morty.

It was okay quite good fun but the sound mixing meant chunks of the dialogue were impossible to understand (this could have just been the cinema I was at). Felt like the little twists, non linear narrative and unanswered questions was to hide the lack of emotion or humanity throughout.

Another documentary feature on Netflix worth watching is The Social Dilemma - quite disturbing, with a bleak outlook; especially concerning as most of the sources work or worked in the very tech industry the programme is covering - certainly thought provoking for humankind

Watched Andromeda Strain for the first time last night. Was alright actually after all these years! Don't forget it's 50 years old! But the ending is weak I thought.

My Octopus Teacher sounds right up our street.

We watched Green Book tonight, well worth the 8.2 on IMDB. Great film about Don Shirley's tour of the Deep South in 1960's America, great acting throughout and really stylish.

Watched last night "My Octopus Teacher" on Netflix - a documentary film with stunning photography about a filmmaker and their developing relationship with an Octopus in the kelp forests off the Cape of S. Africa. brilliant emotional and moving story telling - 5 stars!

Dark Encounter. It was .... ok... undecided. If you like spooky Alien flicks, worth a try.

That'll be the one! I've repeatedly told everyone the wrong name despite numerous corrections from the wife.

Watched '1917' last week - great movie but only an 8/10 for me as it tailed off towards the end. Atmos is mixed well and I jumped out my seat a couple of times especially the rat / trip-wire scene.

Watched 'Unfriended: Dark Web' last night which was pretty good if your into tech. Don't be put off by the crappy IMDB rating as it's a good watch.
