Bottle shock 2008. A film about the Judgement of Paris 1976 where Californian wines wiped the floor with the French in a blind taste test.

The movie's a bit .. well the poetic license is of course heavily used. And the casting a bit weak (Pine.)

That test was repeated in 2006 to the same results. Totally news to me! ☺️ Off to try some Californian wines...

Just watched The War Below about the miners of WW1, really enjoyed it, love a war film, makes me realise that Dolce et Decorum Est... can do one

Also watched the Kingsman, it was ok, exactly what you'd expect from a comedy action that's 3rd in a series.

If you have Prime… avoid Shadow in the Cloud at all costs! A movie so bad that it is entirely baffling …. No obvious start, middle or end…. Just an inexplicably bad movie - whoever wrote it must be chuffed that it got made as I can’t see anyone wanting it on their resume!!!

Watched it too, and good - sadly yes a satirical and quite true picture of our world today. Scary actually. The propped up business man and billionaire is the alter ego of Elon Musk, Bezos and Branson combined.

Think the original WS Story is on TV this week, I saw Grease for the first time yesterday and it was a bit silly but the songs were good, Olivia's voice is strong but her acting was a bit off, tho she did look very youthful for a 29 year old.

I’m a massive JS and Ritchie fan, but this didn’t do it for me. I think the problem was American accents trying to pull off Ritchie dialogue - just failed miserably for me. They don’t get the dry banter right

It's on my to-do list. I'll probably watch it over Christmas

Prime have just released the new Guy Ritchie movie 'Wrath of Man' starring Jason Statham, you know exactly what to expect and it delivers.

I have recently enjoyed watching Joaquin Phoenix in Joker on TV and also in the new black and white film C’mon C’mon at the cinema.
