I bid well over the estimate of everything i bid for & still dipped out. NB I have never bid less than the upper estimate, very rare things go for less. Easier if your there & you can bid individually, you might pick up something no one else seems to be interested in buying, if bidding online (which is not live) then you do risk not winning anything. Not that my strategy helped much this time. If the Chinese are moving in, then we could be effectively shut out. Did you see any of the high bidders Martyn or were they online?

Yeah everything I bid on was sold at a price at least twice, if not 3-4 times my bid, and I bid in the mid-high estimate range.

I'm waiting to hear on my 5 online bids. Though if prices were skyrocketing, I probably wasn't so lucky.

What happened this year with the online posting of sold prices, I remember in previous years the winning bid was loaded online almost immediately, but so far nothing on the website this time around.....

Well Wigan hope you were luckier than we were, apparently prices were sky rocketing, I'll let Martyn pass on the full grim details. Can anyone confirm they got lucky?
