Not everyone is a pain.

Christmas eve a couple of yeas back an lderly lady called 999 to say her TV had broken. The call handler found out that she lived alone and had no family and that her only company on xmas day would be her TV. An officer went to see her and told her not to worry. He went home and picked up an old TV that he was not using. He then gave this to the lady and she was able to have a nice xmas.
Sometimes these selfless storeis get forgotten about with all the media negativity about the police.
