Sad news mate, been there done that etc, couple of years down the line and you'll look back and count it as a blessing, new chapters etc. Just one point are you sure she'll be OK in a one bedroom flat and doesn't need something a bit bigger [emoji6]
After a pretty crappy 18 months in my marriage, relationship counselling and individual counselling for me (apparently my wife thinks that for her it would be a waste of her time and money) I'm viewing a 1 bed flat this afternoon. I don't really want to go into too many details, but just wanted to share where I'm at. Although I am under no illusion that separating is going to be easy, I am really hopeful about the future and feel better about myself than I have ever done. I've asked [MENTION=1]Deano[/MENTION] if I can put a few boxes up for sale as I am going to have some additional unplanned expenses in the near future, so watch this space.

Ahh, sorry to hear that mate. But on a positive note, a bed is not a priority: first thing think single or double humidor
Hi Steve, Hope the counselling helps you come to terms with the situation. I assume the 1bed flat is a financial necessity but does that mean you wouldn't be able to have your children stay over?

Really sorry to hear that, Steve.
I'm sure all the 'Guildford Herf crew' will agree - just say if/when you fancy a few communal sticks.

I do remember the blond Yazz especially from the Labour party conference. It was a bit after my time which was the 80s.
To those who've offered cigar parcels I must say an open thank you for the kind offers. I'm genuinely touched but I'd rather make some purchases than get free cigars just because of sharing my misfortune on here.
Suffice to say there is a herf in the back of my mind at chez moi next year so I'm sure there will be an opportunity to meet such kind hearted individuals as frequent this forum. Unless you get a nose bleed travelling further north than Watford.
As quoted from Jazz! Indeed onwards & upwards mate, as least you'll have a peaceful Christmas, once you have agreed a schedule for the Children's visits. Are your houses close enough for them to walk/ bike to on their own?
Yazz Simon, they're probably too young to remember anyway.
Have a December schedule agreed. Kids with me on xmas day this year which is nice.
As for distance to her new house it's 10 miles so not commutable for my girls and there's no direct bus.
Mind you it's close enough for me.
The only way is up from here on [emoji106][emoji3]
